THE CIRCLES OF HEALING
Clean Start provides safe, healing spaces for women to achieve self-reconciliation, psycho-social support and trauma-healing within and out off prison. A Circle of Healing is a space that allows women to build their self- drive, determination, resilience, confidence and self esteem.
TABLES OF SUPPORT
Clean Start facilitates formerly incarcerated women with life-skills, entrepreneurship/trade/craft training and linkage to business opportunities that enable women access economic opportunities. A Table of Support includes business training geared towards improving and stabilizing the women’s livelihood. Every woman is supported with a minimum of $150 to start a business
HALFWAY PROGRAM
Reorients women with social life outside prison walls, focusing on motherhood, income generating activities and family.
CHILDREN OF IMPRISONED MOTHERS
Clean Start will safeguard the holistic well-being of children living in prison with their mothers through responsive care.
